The MS 24 Hour Mega Swim is a fun team relay event where teams have a swimmer in the water for the entire 24 hours and compete for laps swum and money raised, in support for people living with multiple sclerosis. It is one of Australia’s most popular and fastest-growing fundraising events, bringing communities together. People of all ages and abilities can take part in the MS 24 Hour Mega Swim with each team creating a roster to suit each swimmer. Some swim for 10 minutes, others for 4 hours!

CYCLING QUEENSLAND – Goondiwind to Gold Coast QLD

Calling all adventure minded Massage Therapists. See Queensland and northern NSW for free, earn some money and have an amazing adventure at the same time. ( Australian recognised Massage Qualification is a requisite for this position. 2-10th of September Goondiwindi to the Gold Coast Cycling Adventure Bicycle Queensland provides camping accommodation, meals, transport, all required equipment, handles the bookings. Cyclist pay $20.00 per 15 minute massage $10.00 goes to the massage therapist and $10.00 to a chosen charity.

Cancer Council Tasmania Women’s 5km Walk/Run

Event date: 17 September 2017

About the Women’s 5km Walk/ Run 2017    This will be the Ten Year Anniversary of The Women’s 5k walk/run. This is also the first year that Cancer Council Tasmania will be running this event as one of our Health Promotional / fundraising campaigns. This event is designed to support and encourage health awareness, raise vital funds for Cancer Council Tasmania and bring the community together in a celebration and remembrance of life. It is Tasmania’s largest women’s event.

In 2016 the event had approximately 1600 participants, 5000 physical spectators on the day, 400,000 Facebook views and 3980 followers. The event is held through the CBD district of Launceston, encouraging spectators and participants into the city with entertainment and support. This event increases the scope of Cancer Council Tasmania’s cancer prevention messages so more Tasmanian females know about how to reduce the risk of cancer and early detection strategies The event gains international exposure through marketing such as YouTube, Facebook, TV, Paper, magazines & more.
